The Teddy Bear Room is for preschoolers between three and four years of age. There are three caregivers with a maximum of twenty children. The Teddy Bear's curriculum is designed to encourage stimulation in motor movement, social and emotional development, and creative expression. In addition to these basic components, children are also introduced to the STAR curriculum, which stands for Steps To Achieving Resilience. The STAR curriculum focuses on concepts that promote social, self-regulation, literacy, language, and cognitive development through child-directed and teacher-led activities. The STAR materials are used to compliment our themes and routines already in place.
